Facilities

Radio Production and Media Studies are based in the School of Media, Art and Design, on the Harrow Campus. This greenfield site is 15 minutes by tube from Baker Street. Westminster prides itself on continually investing in our facilities to provide the latest equipment for training. This includes:

•  three fully-equipped self-op broadcast studios which have RCS Mastercontrol and Selector plus ISDN capability

•  a production suite of 25 PCs - each with Adobe Audition, Burli, news & audio feeds from IRN & Sky Radio News, web software and digital TV and radio receivers

•  a separate suite of twelve SADiE high-end editing PCs

•  50 portable mini-disc recorders

•  twenty eight  Marantz portable flash card recorders

•  two 'SCOOP' devices which allow outside broadcasts from remote locations
